How To Make Coffee With French Press
Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup coarsely ground coffee beans (use fresh beans for best flavor)
- 1 1/2 cups hot water (just below boiling point)
Instructions:
-
Heat water in a kettle until it reaches just below boiling point.
-
While the water is heating, add the coarsely ground coffee beans to the French press.
-
Once the water has reached the appropriate temperature, pour it over the coffee grounds in the French press.
-
Give the mixture a gentle stir to ensure that all the coffee grounds are fully immersed in the water.
-
Place the plunger on top of the French press but do not press down yet.
-
Let the coffee steep for about 4-5 minutes, depending on how strong you like your coffee.
-
Slowly press down the plunger, separating the coffee grounds from the liquid.
-
Pour the brewed coffee into a mug and enjoy!
Note: You can adjust the amount of coffee grounds and water based on your personal preferences. Also, make sure to clean your French press after each use to ensure that your coffee always tastes fresh.
